    <summary type="html">You will some of the nutrients by steeping herbs in cold water, but not all of them.  I would steep a teabag in half a cup of boiling water, let it sit until cold, then add both or just the squeezed tea extract to the bottle.  And why not drop in a few fresh raspberries for extra flavor? &#xD;

    <summary type="html">I'm not an expert, but from my personal knowledge heat does kill certain nutrients, yet it also activates certain parts of a plant so it depends on what you're looking for.  perhaps if the instructions tell you to do a hot water infusion you could do a hot water infusion and then throw it on ice?  Ultimately though an infusion probably won't be very powerful and it would be a better idea to get the raw herbs used in the infusion and boil them for a few hours.  I would look into the traditional uses of the herbs used in the infusion to ultimately decide whether to do a cold or hot extraction.</summary>

    <summary type="html">I'm drinking red raspberry leaf tea to aid fertility and the info that I have says to do a hot water infusion.  But being that it's summer and drinking hot water is the last thing I want to do what I have been doing is making a teabag in the morning and popping it in my water bottle and refilling and sipping all day.  So, what I'm asking is am I doing myself any good, or am I wasting my time.  Am I getting the nutrients that I need in the cold water?  Also, does boiling kill the nutrients like I've read in Yerba Mate?</summary>
