Does anyone know any good books or magazines on the subjects?
I would love to learn more about what's good for us, be it kefir, kombucha tea, or anything. In addition, i'm aslo thinking about planting herbs around the house and get more into growing and using herbs for their medicinal properties.
Does anyone have a good magazine that they like? or know a good book, site by any chance?

It has been my 1st, best resource.
The pictures are detailed skecthes but you can always get a field guide or use the internet for photos in color.
I got this book in the used section in Logos bookstore in Santa Cruz California for 4$!
Hope you can get a copy, good luck and happy hunting :-) -

I used to get the magazine "The Herb Companion", which is pretty good. It's mostly about growing herbs and using them for cooking and crafts, though, not much medicinal information. They have a companion magazine, whose name I forget, that is about the medicinal aspects of herbs. (The two magazines come out in alternate months.)
