Has anyone found a cure for Herpes yet? Have you heard of MMS? I have been using it when i get a cold. It is a "sodium chloride" solution you mix with "citric acid" and it turns into a perfect dosage (not to high and not too low) of oxigen that kills only the non beneficial viruses, bacterias, funguses and parasites. It has cured my bronchitis so far (as far as i noticed). It is said to cure Herpes and other "uncurable viruses). I am still researching on it. a friend of mine has herpes and i am trying to help him.

What about Quickclear? It is supposed to totally cure Herpes..it is supposedly a all natural herbal potent immune booster.

I would realllllly appreciate some guidance here.

Where have you heard that there's a perfect dosage of citric acid that only kills non beneficial viruses/bacteria/fungi/parasites? From my personal knowledge if the solution you're using is sterile enough to kill non-benificial it's certainly going to kill beneficial as well and that they're pretty non-distinguishable in terms of natural or unnatural sterilization methods. I could be wrong though and if you could site your source of information I'd be interested in learning more. As for Herpes I personally haven't heard of a "cure" yet, but I have heard from many people that tea tree oil applied topically can help handle outbreaks, although if there truly is an herbal decoction/tincture which can CURE Herpes (I assume you mean type 2) I'd be very interested in finding out what that is, and the bio-molecular relationship between the plants and the human body. I've often heard correlations between outbreaks and diet/stress, so if you consume a very healthy diet and practice general relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga, or qi-qong, it may appear as though the herpes has been cured. The difficulty with proving whether type 2 Herpes has truly been cured or not is in the fact that it may simply be laying dormant due to healthy lifestyle choices and just appear to not be a problem anymore. Again though, if someone can state some kind of study in which Herpes was conclusively "cured" by some type of natural herbal method I would be very interested in reading about it (hint hint someone please link here a study if they know it).

      Can we just clarify?

Just because you're not getting outbreaks, does not mean you no longer have herpes. The only way to tell whether you have it is to take a test which detects the virus (or lack of virus). You can still pass on herpes without having outbreaks, and to call yourself 'cured' because you don't have open sores is to put everyone you are intimate with at risk of acquiring this virus.

That said, I would LOVE to see some data on herbal cures of this supposedly uncurable virus. Do you have links?

I thought you dont have to be intimate to get herpes anyway as its often shedding itself? How can one pass it on when no lesions are present?

As far as I know, some people can have asymptomatic shedding and others don't exhibit that. So , for instance, I've been with probably 5 long-term partners with whom I had unprotected sex for periods of years, and none of them have gotten herpes from me, with us avoiding sex when I've had lesions (I guess i haven't had outbreaks when I was with the last one or maybe they stopped happening two partners ago, I can't quite recall, but all in all, I've been sexually active for 20 years, had herpes almost the same length of time, and had unprotected sex with several men and tons of unprotected oral sex (when not having an outbreak) with both genders without spreading it to anyone that I know of)

I've also don't have oral herpes, which is equally contagious (and you can get both from different people) and I have been with a far larger number of people who've had it, and never contracted it, simply because we avoided kissing when that person had an outbreak.

None of this is guaranteed to be your situation but my impression from reading about it is that it's pretty common for people to only be contagious when they have lesions, or shortly before an outbreak..

well, some people (i'm one) just naturally stop having outbreaks after a few years or decades of having the infection, so it's really hard to say that any one 'natural' remedy is the cause if someone stops having outbreaks alltogether. The immune system is part of this so anything you can do to support your immune system, including taking herbs classed as 'adaptogens' and lowering the level of stress to your body from lifestyle, should help.

MMS is really, really fishy (if I remember right, they basically claim that you can take a very small amount of bleach (or something that turns into bleach internally) and take it internally and it supposedly killls all kinds of things, which makes no sense biologically). Most of their claims can't be verified, it runs completely counter to all science, and there's no real evidence besides testimonials about it. I'd steer clear. I think the folks who are really actually writing real testimonials probably have placebo effect going on to some extent or are trying other things in addition to/before MMS.

There are a few remedies for herpes misery, though- one is changing your diet (google lysene and arginine and herpes, you'll get a lot more info). this works for many, many people - you just stop eating foods high in one amino acid and start eating more of another type, not a very restrictive diet and not hard to adhere to. I think it also shortens outbreaks.

I'm sure there are herbal remedies but I"m not sure what they are. Otherwise, there's a good over-the-counter remedy now called Abreve which supposedly works really well. My ex used it for frequent oral herpes cold sores and it seemed really effective.

Another friend of mine who had frequent outbreaks (and doens't treat his body very well) went through some kind of acyclovir therapy for herpes, which got him to stop having frequent outbreaks. I haven't talked to hiim about this so I don't know details, it's apparently reasonably standard pharma stuff at this point.

Check out natropractica.com for Herpes info - and I also heard Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) may have hope!

      thank you skunky

      people do need clarification

it is so easy to think we are healed.. however, in fact I do think that peopel may becoem healed through natural body and good self care healthy living.. it is up to a medical test however to count antibodies ..etc..
putting another at risk to get an uncomfortable difficulty is not good karma in my mind.
