i bought an ear drops from hi health and i used it a couple days ago. it seemed to clean my ears, but my right ear feels irritated. it feels like my right ear goes in and out of hearing and i tug on it, the sound comes in. the ear drops has mullein, st john’s wort, garlic, and olive oil. does anyone know why my right ear would feel this irritated? back to this problem again, i hope i dont need to make another doctor appointment. im also hearing ringing in the ears.

A question I have, is what are you trying to accomplish. Did your ears hurt initially or are you simply trying to remove wax?

Regardless, it now sounds like one ear is bothering you. One thing that you might try is warming the oil, very slightly, then soaking a cloth in the oil. Place this on the outside of your ear as a compress. I personally would add some oregon grape tincture to the mix, to help with absorption. But really, even if you have some witch hazel it would serve this purpose as well. As much as the oil might help internally, it also could irritate your ears....depending on what is going on.

Truly any warm compress might provide some relief. Even just a warm cloth or a heating pad, wrapped in a cloth..don't want to heat your skin up too much..just provide some warming comfort.

I have heard that Ginko Biloba actually helps with Tinitus (ringing in the ears.) Might look it up online to verify.

i went to the doctor yesterday. the ear drops i bought at hi health made the wax super soft and the stuff stayed in my ears causing the ringing in my ear. they said was no wax but the ear drops was still in my ear, so they cleaned out both ears and the ringing stop. he prescribed me some ear drops to try out for 5 days and if the ringing didnt stop, he would send me to an ear nose and throat doctor.

All those organics you are putting in your ear all have a decomposition factor and are subject to about a thousand different yeasts and fungi.

I'd avoid putting anything on my ear that was organic on such a level.

You might have an infection already.

Don't put anything in your ears but very occasionally some hydrogen peroxide.
And then only for a specific reason.

The ear is not only a fragile instrument but it's a direct conduit to the brain.
You can kill some one by putting poison in their ear.
Bartolomeo Eustachi, (circa 1550) the ancient Italian anatomist discovered this when he explored the connection between the ear and the brain.
